General standings

High power: total output power must not exceed 1500 Watts
Low power: total output power must not exceed 100 Watts

Y-MOST: only participants 19 years of age and younger (by the contest start date). Date of birth must be indicated in the SOAPBOX section of the log.

All the GROUP 1 participants are allowed to make contacts using non-geostationary amateur radio satellites. Multipliers worked via satellites cont as worked on an additional band, besides the 6 HF bands.

Only SO—SAT—GS—MIX participants are allowed to make contacts using geostationary satellites.

Only one signal is allowed to be emitted a single moment of time.

Exceptions:

SPECIAL category participants operating in multyoperator-multyband mode with only one signal per band allowed.

GROUP 1 participants allowed to emit an additional signal on one of the VHF bands simultaneously while operating on HF bands.

Duplicate QSOs are allowed on different HF bands and in different modes. While operating via satellites duplicate contacts are allowed using different satellites, different orbits and different modes.

Contacts with the International Space Station (RS0ISS call sign) are allowed using FM mode.

QO-100 operation frequency bands:
Uplink area 2400.370 – 2400.490 MHz
Downlink area 10489.870 – 10489.990 MHz
Band indicated in the log: 2,3 G.

Exchange numbers:
RS(T) plus ITU zone number.

Special category stations use a combination of two letters for exchange.

QSO points:
QSO with your own country ( P-150-C list) – 2 points
QSO with a different country ( P-150-C list) on your own continent – 3 points
QSO with a different continent – 4 points
QSOs made using satellites – 50 points
QSOs with the International Space Station – 200 points

All the points for the QSOs made on 160 and 80 meter bands are multiplied by a factor of 3.
All the points for the QSOs made on 40 meter band are multiplied by a factor of 2.
All the points for the QSOs made using SSB mode are additionally multiplied by a factor of 2.

Multipliers:
Each ITU zone worked on each band counts as 1 point for multiplier. In addition, QSOs with special stations according to the list below count as 1 point for multiplier on each band and in each mode.

Final Score:

The total number of QSO points on all bands is multiplied by the total number of multipliers worked on all bands.

Penalties:
Penalties are worth the QSO point value for the contact.
Penalty is applied in case of:

incorrectly logged calls;
incorrectly logged exchange numbers;
QSO neither counted nor penalized for the following:

QSO time difference of more than 3 minutes (except for cases in which the judges determines error as fault of the correspondent);
QSO bands or modes difference (except for cases in which the judges determines error as fault of the correspondent);
In case of participants not sending their logs to the contest committee all contacts with them are valid only if their calls are contained in least three logs.

Notes for SWLs:
If both calls and only one exchange are received the SWL counts 1 point.
If both calls and both exchanges are received the SWL counts 3 points.

Duplicate call signs are allowed on different bands and in different modes, and in case of listening using satellites on different orbits and in different modes.

In case of listening using satellites all the points are multiplied by a factor of 10.
No multipliers are used for point scoring for SWL category entrants.
